Brian Holman Blake Melton returns with another spectacular album! Just like Cathedral, it's a minimalist's fever dream. So many layered textures that don't feel muddy or busy. This will probably be one of my favorite ambient albums for a long time. Favorite track: And Who's Fault Is That?.

about

Minuma is a personal effort to strip wildly emotional music down to a simply environmental factor. Wherein, instead of conveying feelings and stories I am creating an area or a familiar landscape to become a part of. The tracks echo to tunes from cathedrals to Richmond bars in the summer, and from cemeteries to the schools in which I was raised. By tearing away this symbiotic association to mental crucible, I hope that the listener can subjectively find their selves in a space that they can interpret on their own and discard the present reality.
